An evening with the NEW Glam Triumph

MHB sent over our bloggers Nicole Fu, Angelica Tan and Jenny Ma to the launch of the new revamped Triumph boutique in Mid Valley Megamall on 28 April 2016. Triumph has been in Malaysia for over 43 years, and the global lingerie brand revamped its look with a new brand logo that emphasizes femininity and strength, solidifying its position as the leader in intimate apparel.

The event kicked off with an opening dance performance that represented sensuality and femininity, followed by the unveiling of its new boutique window which showcased its latest campaign visuals.  We were then welcomed to take a closer look of the new revamped boutique.

Ms. Shoo Hue Ping, Triumph’s Brand Manager addressed the guests about Triumph’s Find the One Again campaign. Triumph is on a mission to help women find the right size bra. Triumph wants women to stop compromising on finding the right fit.  Therefore, Triumph is once again emphasizing on its “Find The One Again” campaign. Women can definitely find that perfect fit, style and comfort that they are looking for all this while with Triumph. With a vast variety to offer Triumph is sure to find the one for each and every woman that walks in for a fitting.

To inaugurate the momentous occasion a spectacular fashion show was held showcasing different styles and collection that Triumph has to offer.

Watsons Malaysia CNY 2016 Campaign Launch

MHB’s Ashley Mah and managing editor Tim Chew headed over to Yezi at The Roof for Watsons Malaysia’s Chinese New Year campaign launch on 7 January 2016. The highlight of the launch was Watsons Chinese New Year music video which featured the original song ‘Happy Beautiful Year’ and cameo appearances by more than 20 top Malaysian celebrities including Amber Chia, Leng Yein, Point Blanc, Dato’ Lai Meng, Dato’ Kee Hua Chee, Kit Mah, Nadine Ann Thomas, Nadia Heng, Hansen Lee, Juwei, Dr Shazril Shaharuddin, Reem Shahwa, Mark O’Dea, Nancy Marcus, Livonia Ricky, Stevensunny and Willy Tan.

“Chinese New Year is one of our important campaigns to continuously engage with our customers. Aside from the innovation of products available at our stores during the festive season, this year we are sending across the message of being beautiful inside and out, and at the same time showing the diversity of the people in our country living harmoniously together,” said Danny Hoh, Head of Marketing, Watsons Malaysia in his welcoming speech to the media.

The campaign features a song and music video which was performed live at the launch by the five main cast namely Annie Pang, Choong Lai Chan, Julie Chew, Vivian How and Winnie Ho. The five talents were casted in after a few rounds of audition with award winning production house Woo Hoo Pictures, who also co-directed and produced the music video with Watsons marketing team. The shooting of the music video took place in November 2015 at various locations.

 

 

“This music video showcases our favourite past times together which includes singing and dancing with lively music and at the same showing fun, laughter and humour in it,” added Danny on the making of the music video.

The music video was aired on national TV and on Watsons Malaysia’s YouTube and Facebook channels, garnering more than 300,000 views and 3,700 shares within 48 hours.

The Watsons ‘Happy Beautiful Year’ campaign is offering RM1,000,000 worth of prizes for the Scratch and Win to its members with any purchase worth RM50 in a single receipt.

“We hope during this New Year, our VIP members will find shopping experience at our stores a unique one. We hope the rewards will benefit them and at the same time sharing this to their family and loved ones,” Danny added in his speech.
